Title: Life
In general what is life? A rising sun, a pouring rain, laughing children, fields of grain, Crickets in the weeds, and birds eating seeds is Life.
Life comes alive from the natural surroundings of the hand of God. Waterfalls crashing on broken rocks, Boats slamming against landing docks, Whistling winds stir up the dust, Crashing rains creating rust is Life.
Thunder clangs awake the dead, Drips of rain felt on my head, Rustling branches intertwine, Cracking lightning form a line is Life.
Silent life is an opening of a rose, Dew drops on my toes, A leaf falling to the ground, Dandelions popping from the ground is Life.
I wonder if we were not around If nature's voices would sound?

Title: Wither Thou Goest
Are not you happiest here? What troubles you? The wanderer cannot keep still With such a busy mind.
Noone is able to reach The soul inside a body. Noone is able to vision The waves of other's thoughts.
Take care of one's self. Worry not of troubled man. The freedom one feels is better Than the chains of one's own heels.

Title: Wheat
The essence of life. To stir into the soul. To fulfill the heart. To fill the body. To work hard for. Worth more than gold.
We cannot live on bread alone. Bread without grain is void. But by God's spoken word We can be thankful for.

Title: Silent
Hymns of birds Is unheard. Church bells Only whisper. Baby's giggle turns others heads. Mom's prayer is Words of silence. Water falls On deaf ears. Thunder is Only felt. Sleigh bells ring Aren't you listening? It doesn't matter If one can't hear. It only matters what One feels.

Title: Peace
Peace be with all who believe In the Lord of our creation. Humbled souls rejoice in gladness, May he guide the path of our nation. Bow down, hats off! to the new born King. Be silent in the gently fallen snow. Close eyes in the honor of our Father, As earth's stars flicker all in a row. Rejoice! Light the candles, One for Father, one for Son. Still the moment, Say Grace, For one day, Halleluia, We shall look upon His face.

Title: Nestled
In the middle of the river, In the middle of the land, Runs a little bit of water With a little bit of sand. In between mid stream Lies a birdie full of fear. Screeching for its life While its mamma cries a tear. Little bitty birdie, Stay where you are. Mamma's gonna save you, She's not very far. Hang on little birdie, Hang on real tight. Just stay where you are. Refrain from taking flight. Nestle now with mamma, Go fast asleep. Try another day To take a giant leap.

Title: Lost & Found
High and Low, and Low and Behold, I cannot find my shoe. Looking High and Looking Low, Where ever did it go?
Under the haystack? Over the Rainbow? Needless to say, Where did it go?
Hasten, Listen, Peek and Find, Could it get up and fly? Up the tree? In the Cloud? Through the woods, Out of the sky?
Never will I worry more, Nor will I say why? For God knows where it is Until the day I die.

Title: Little Rose of Sharon
In 1952, I thought of you, On a cold October morning. There in my mind, seen clear as ice, More precious than an angel on high.
Your arms held out, hair shining like fire, Tiny hands fold to be warmed. Dressed in pale Pink, draped over soft skin, as many ribbons were tied at the waist.
Whiter than snow, purer than gold, More loved than all money can buy. Loving the taste of the Queen bee's honey and thirsting the cream of thick milk.
Speak softly little one, rock on to sleep For the time of earthly days has come, "You shall arrive", Grandmother will say, "Rise up little Rose Of Sharon" Amen.

Title: If Ever
If ever a flower is fresh, It will surely wilt. If ever a day is long, One day 'twill be short. If ever a tree is strong, It some day may be weak. If ever a soul is saved, It will surely live on.

Title: Heaven
Called great and holy city Descending out of heaven from God. Her light like unto a precious stone, The grasses like fields of sod. Like jasper, clear as crystal. A wall standing great and tall. Twelve angels are at twelve gates. Written thereon are the Twelve tribes of Israel. The wall of the city has twelve foundations. In them the apostles and those saved, from the nations. The city is four square, length as long as the breadth. The measurement twelve thousand furlongs. A place where there is no death. The city is pure gold, like unto clear glass. Twelve pearls are the twelve gates. Every several gate is of one pearl. When the trumpet sounds, few hesitate.

Title: Eve of Nature
Along life's path of solitude, I find peace of mind in nature. I'm skipping over pine tree branches Starting my adventure. Stopping at a lonesome tree, I take the time to rest. Looking down upon the ground I see an empty nest. Reminded spring is over, Summer's truly past, Autumn days are slipping by. Winter's here at last. Flakes of snow fall silently. Holly berries are covered. Cinnamon scents fill the air And "Silent Night" is heard. "Jingle, Jingle" goes the sleigh. St. Nick is over head. Reminded to rejoice Before I go to bed.

Title: Consider the Time
Dancing in whirlwinds of old autumn leaves. Breathing moisture of spring's early dawn. I walk beside rustling branches and the rain filled creek over stones.
Dew drops from nights cool mist, As sunflowers raise up to drink. The moon takes a peek, gives earth a wink to the beauty of earth's new born sky.
The sun turns to dark, the moon to pure gold. Trees bow down to eve's silent night. Another day will come and so will a season. Remember, consider the time.

Title: Rise Again Old Glory
The year brings sorrow and a time to mourn. Reminded praying is long forgotten, And remembering "THE GOOD OL' DAYS" Is what our grandparents did.
Fear, violence, hunger, pain Winding it's way through our world. Sweet childhood memories turn sour, And families turn from the truth.
O America! Where are you going? America! The land of the free. Enter Dear God in our people. And we will say "Rise Again, Old Glory!"
